I was very blessed with the retreat this year! Jim & Jan's teaching brought me wisdom, more understanding & encouragement. The special speaker , Bill Farrel, which we had Saturday was also an added blessing! The church we attended Sunday was wonderful, just as the churches we have attended in past retreats. It was so wonderful to meet our new chat members
well as see everyone again. Overall, I was very blessed by this year’s retreat and look forward to next year :)                                            “Helping”

WHAT IN THE WORLD IS JIM DOING???!!!
With all the sharing that goes on at the Chat Room Retreats, everyone gets very emotional and we go through a lot of tissues. Jim decided stuffing tissues into his glasses was an efficient way to catch his tears.

This was my 5th retreat and each year I love it more and more. I have grown so much since my 1st retreat. Sharing our stories at the retreats helps us to realize that others have walked our path and that the Lord is always there to help us all through, if we ask Him. There is an extra special bonding in the chat room, especially if you can put a face and a hug to those you are talking to. I am not saying that people don't bond in the chat room but the retreat is extra extra special with growing experiences unlike anything else I have ever been to. The theme for the retreat is always very well researched (this year – “Wholeness in Brokenness”) and the bonus speaker, Bill Farrel, was informative, encouraging, and funny! Instead of me telling you all this - you need to sign up for the next retreat and experience it for yourself.                                                    “Hannah”

The retreat really helped me see that I am not alone, and many blessings have come out of this experience that started in so much pain. I have made a new family of friends, and this is a time for me to create a stronger relationship with God while at the same time, pray that my husband and the other woman will find God instead of looking at temporary fixes for pleasure. As hard as it is, we have to let our husbands go and pray God works on them to soften their hearts and that they may come back to their wife and children.                   “Vsingh”
