A successful marriage is not measured by the absence of
conflict, but by the presence of conflict resolution, among other factors.
Unfortunately, some couples conclude that their marriage was a mistake because they
have conflicts. As a result, they dont take the time to develop resolution skills,
and their marriage deteriorates.
A marriage is more than a legal contract. It is a relationship of common values and a
shared life. Yes, problems are unpleasant, but they also provide an opportunity for the
couple to grow personally, as well as understand each other if they work at
resolving the problems. Conflict is okay!
