Dr. Jim Conway

Jim was Founder and President of Midlife Dimensions (from 1981 to 2011), a counseling and conference ministry, focusing on midlife adults and their families through seminars, radio, TV, books, articles, tapes, counseling, and a creative website. On the 30th Anniversary of Midlife Dimensions, Jim turned the ministry over to Bill and Pam Farrel. Jim, and his wife Jan, started "LateLife Hope", a ministry to "Boomers" who are now entering their later year.

  Since the publication of Jim Conway’s first book, MEN IN MIDLIFE CRISIS, Jim has been at the forefront of a growing ministry to thousands of men, women, and families.  

Jim Conway served as a pastor for 25 years and then was director of the Doctor of Ministry program and associate professor at Talbot School of Theology, Biola University, California, for five years.  

He holds five earned degrees in theology and psychology, is listed in “Who’s Who”, and is a widely-published writer of books and articles.   Jim has spoken at churches, retreats, colleges, and seminaries around the world.   Jim was a co-speakers on the national daily radio program, “Midlife Dimensions”, on over 200 stations.

JAN KINNE CONWAY

Jim and Jan got married in 2006, after nine years of singleness for Jim, and five single years for Jan.   Some people find it interesting that God brought them together -- from California and Michigan -- by a very modern technological tool -- the Internet.

 

Jim’s wife, Sally, died of breast cancer in 1997,and

Jan’s husband, Dr. Doug Kinne, died of brain cancer in 2001.

 

Jim and Jan’s Worldwide Ministries:

 

Jim and Jan continue an active ministry ministering to midlife people around the world -- they tried to do one overseas ministry trip each year.   Plus they are involved in leading small groups, prayer ministry, and they continue working on books. Jim and Jan also serve on an oversight board with YWAM Kona, Hawaii.

 

SALLY CHRISTON CONWAY

Jim’s first wife, and our CO-Founder — Died in 1997 after a 7 year battle with breast cancer.

 

Sally changed the world with her life and gifts.   Sally was an Author, conference speaker; co-founder, and vice-president of Midlife Dimensions, 1981 until her death in May 1997
